Gallienus Billon Antoninianus. Samosata mint, ca 260-261 AD. Obv: (dot) IMP C P LIC GALLIENVS P F AVG, radiate draped bust right Rev: VIRTVS AVG, emperor standing right, holding transverse spear, receiving wreath from Roma standing left, holding spear & shield. RIC 457, listed in the Joint Reign section with a note, "The style of these coins is of the joint reign." I guess they felt strongly about the style, but I personally believe it's from the very beginning of the Sole Reign. Göbl 1704m(2).
